Project Description
This project involved the design of an exhibition booth commissioned by Shahr Bank for a major trade exhibition held on Kish Island, Iran.
Shahr Bank is one of Iran’s well-established and recognized banks, with a strong focus on urban services, public transportation payments, and integrated city-scale financial solutions.
The objective of the booth was to introduce and demonstrate Shahr Bank’s new comprehensive urban payment service, allowing visitors to symbolically experience the full user journey in a clear, physical, and intuitive way.
The booth was designed around a three-step interaction flow, translated directly into spatial experience:
- Card purchase and personalization
- Card top-up and single-trip ticket purchase
- Ticket usage and balance deduction
Each stage was represented as a distinct interaction point within the booth, guiding visitors through the service exactly as they would experience it in real urban scenarios.
To enhance spatial storytelling and avoid flat, neutral surfaces, the booth walls featured 2.5D illustrations of buses and taxis, reinforcing the service’s connection to everyday city transportation. Sponsor logos were also executed in 2.5D form, adding depth and visual hierarchy without overwhelming the space.
The floor design included custom graphic stickers to subtly guide movement and support the overall narrative. All elements followed Shahr Bank’s official red and white color palette to maintain strong brand consistency.
A custom-designed counter inspired by traditional ticket booths served as the first interaction point, directly connecting the initial step of the service to familiar urban experiences.
The final result was an experiential booth that translated a digital payment system into a tangible, understandable, and memorable physical environment.
