Kitsune Omni - Overview
Kitsune OMNI represents a new chapter in motorcycle design — a single, adaptive platform built around one radical idea: the Plate Monocoque.
Instead of a traditional tubular frame, OMNI uses a solid aluminum side plate as the main structural core. Every major component — from the powertrain to the suspension — mounts directly to this plate, turning the entire machine into one unified, load-bearing system.
OMNI isn’t a single bike. It’s a platform — capable of transforming into Café Racer, Adventure, or Naked configurations with modular subframes and interchangeable components. It supports multiple powertrains — ICE, hybrid, or full-electric — and encourages deep personalization through 3D-printable accessories and open design files.
The result is a fusion of industrial efficiency, ergonomic intelligence, and cultural emotion, all wrapped in Kitsune’s design philosophy: Retro Morphism — bringing classic spirit into modern form.

Design Intent
OMNI was born to answer three persistent problems in modern motorcycles:
Redundant design — different frames for each model, leading to waste and obsolescence.
Excessive complexity — high part counts and assembly inefficiencies.
Shallow personalization — customization limited to aesthetics, not structure.
The design approach is guided by Kitsune’s three pillars:
Compact Design: every element must justify its existence.
Retro Morphism: historical cues, modern execution.
Everything at its Best: a balance of performance, ergonomics, and emotion.
OMNI is designed not as a product, but as a creative system — one that adapts, evolves, and grows with its rider.
Key Innovations
Plate Monocoque Chassis: CNC-machined aluminum side plate serving as the structural spine of the bike. Reduces welds, parts, and weight while improving stiffness and modularity.
Powertrain Agnosticism: engineered to accommodate internal combustion, hybrid, or electric systems within the same architecture.
Full Modularity: interchangeable subframes, handlebars, lighting, and seats enable multiple configurations without redesign.
Monolink Suspension: single-arm systems front and rear for reduced unsprung mass and a distinctive silhouette.
Integrated Fuel Cell: fuel storage built inside the monocoque for balanced mass distribution and enhanced safety.
Personalization Platform: downloadable 3D-printable accessories — from light grilles to hubcap plates — allowing riders to co-create their machine.
Human Integration
OMNI is built around the human, not the machine.
Ergonomics were optimized across riders from 160–190 cm, with adjustable handlebar reach, reversible seat chassis, and modular footpeg positions. The rider triangle dynamically shifts across modes — from aggressive Café lean to upright Adventure posture — without compromising comfort or control.
A smartphone-first dashboard replaces traditional gauges, integrating diagnostics, GPS, and ride telemetry directly into the user’s device.
Engineering & Construction
The monocoque chassis is CNC-milled from high-grade aluminum alloys (6061/7075). All mounting bosses for powertrain, suspension, and electrical routing are integrated directly into the plate. Subframes attach through standardized bolt patterns, enabling rapid swaps between configurations.
Safety was engineered into the load paths: sacrificial subframes absorb impact, protecting the monocoque core for repairability and sustainability.
This approach reduces overall part count, weld lines, and assembly time — leading to a leaner, stronger, and more serviceable structure.
Customization Ecosystem
OMNI is more than a bike — it’s a community platform.
Kitsune provides downloadable design assets, mounting templates, and color/material swatches through its online hub. Riders can 3D-print, remix, or share custom parts while keeping structural integrity intact.
Personalization becomes functional, not just visual — a new form of mechanical expression where riders become co-designers.
Sustainability & Lifecycle
OMNI’s modularity extends its lifespan far beyond the typical motorcycle cycle.
Reduced material waste via integrated structure
Easy repair and part replacement
Transition-ready design for hybrid or EV powertrains
Simplified end-of-life disassembly for recycling
In a world of rapid obsolescence, OMNI offers evolution instead of replacement.
The Kitsune Vision
Kitsune OMNI is not just a concept — it’s a manifesto for the future of custom motorcycles.
It embodies the belief that design should evolve with culture, not against it — combining mechanical honesty, user creativity, and sustainability into a single, expressive machine.
Exhibition – Tehran Design Week 2025
Kitsune OMNI was officially showcased at Tehran Design Week 2025, marking a significant milestone for both the project and the Kitsune brand.
Presenting OMNI in this event provided an opportunity to highlight its compact architecture, modular system, and retro-inspired design language to a broader design audience.
Transforming this concept from early sketches into a physical model and exhibiting it within one of the country’s most prominent design platforms was both a demanding and rewarding experience.
This showcase represents an important step in Kitsune’s ongoing evolution toward more ambitious and innovative projects.
