About Need for Speed Underground 1

Need for Speed Underground (also known as NFSU) is a racing video game that marked a significant shift in the Need for Speed series. Released in 2003, it was developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts. Unlike its predecessors, which focused on sports cars and exotics, Underground delved into the world of street racing and import scene vehicles. The game introduced a career mode with a compelling storyline and a garage mode that allowed players to fully customize their cars using a wide variety of brand-name performance and visual upgrades. All the adrenaline-fueled races took place in the fictional city of Olympic City, which bears some resemblance to New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. With its edgy urban aesthetic, thrilling races, and extensive car customization options, Need for Speed: Underground became a commercial success and inspired a sequel.
