Darth Maul, originally known as Maul, is a Zabrak Sith Warrior hailing from the mysterious planet of Dathomir. His story is one of darkness, betrayal, and relentless pursuit of vengeance.

• First Appearance: Maul burst onto the scene in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Portrayed by Ray Park and voiced by Peter Serafinowicz, he served as the powerful Sith Lord and Darth Sidious’ first apprentice. • Battle of Naboo: During the Battle of Naboo, Maul mortally wounded Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. However, he met his match when Qui-Gon’s apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, bisected him. Seemingly defeated, Maul’s hatred fueled his survival.
• Insanity and Isolation: Isolated for over a decade, Maul’s mind deteriorated. But fate intervened when his brother, Savage Opress, found him during the Clone Wars. The Nightsister Mother Talzin restored his body with magick and cybernetics.
• Obsession with Revenge: Maul’s obsession with revenge against Obi-Wan consumed him. He orchestrated a takeover of Mandalore, murdered Obi-Wan’s lover, Duchess Satine Kryze, and united crime syndicates under his leadership.
• Capture and Escape: Captured by Sidious, Maul escaped before the rise of the Galactic Empire. Renouncing his Sith title, he rebuilt his criminal organization and manipulated Ezra Bridger into helping him find Obi-Wan on Tatooine.
• Final Confrontation: The old rivals faced off in a final confrontation. Maul’s death marked the end of a tumultuous journey, leaving behind a legacy of darkness and tragedy.
